Likes it here (a win and a couple of placed efforts) and has been in good form recently, finishing a close up fourth here last time. No secrets from the handicapper but should run his race, and can go close.

Showed he stays this trip when just denied over C&D latest, and had previously been successful over shorter at Downpatrick. May face different ground here but going the right way and should be close up again.

Has been mixing hurdles with fences recently and been going well over both, going close over 3m (in heavy) at Listowel when last seen. More rain the better and another that looks sure to run his race.

Has been running with great consistency this summer and deserves a win on another good effort at Listowel on latest effort. Nudged up a couple of pounds for that but handles all ground and holds chances again.

Back to form when getting up again in the shadow of the post to prove successful at Navan earlier in the week, and this extra 2f is no issue. Ground fine too, so every chance of following up under a penalty.

Stays fine and acts on most ground, so has that going for her, but recent form has become progressively worse and she makes little appeal at present.

Step up to this trip produced an improved effort at wexford last time out, finding just the one too good. May face slower ground here but is at least going the right way now and can't be discounted.

Not pulled any trees up in maiden hurdles but wasn't totally disgraced over 3m last time, and may have more to offer now handicapped. Can't be ruled out on that alone.

Form has tailed off badly recently and he's falling quickly in the handicap now. Veteran about ready for his bus pass and looks an unlikely winner here.

Stays this trip well and was a winner at Tipperary in July at it. Ran well below that when last seen and may not be one to trust, but change of headgear and a short break may both help the situation.

Going nowhere quickly at present, well beaten most recent starts and no guarantees that this trip will bring about any improvement either.

Found some form to come good over fences latest, staying on well to deny TB Broker Her by a length. That's only moderate form but does at least show he's in good heart, so as one that stays and is in form, can't be ruled out from 4lb higher mark.

On a fair mark based on chase form (winner over 3m at Limerick in July) and appears to be keeping his form if latest staying-on sixth at Wexford is to be believed. Another that simply can't be discounted in a very tricky contest.

Small World (9/4), Let's Twist Again (5/1), Vinnie Luck (5/1), War Of The Pennys (8/1), Antimatter (12/1), Massinis Adventure (12/1), Mother's Best (14/1), Megara (14/1), Walkers Point (16/1), Cadawill (16/1), Northern Meeting (16/1), Chosen Hour (18/1), Tigroney (25/1), Forever Dylan (25/1), Artic Fever (33/1), Cootamundra (66/1)

Verdict

Quantity rather than quality here and a race to tread carefully with. Megara would hold a good chance if building on his fourth here last time but whether he'll be as effective over this trip remains to be seen. Preference is for LET'S TWIST AGAIN, who has an obvious chance of taking this if in the same form as Navan last time. He looks progressive and can go in again. Small World and Massini's Adventure are others to consider.
  1. Let's Twist Again
  2. Small World
  3. Massinis Adventure
