Bumper winner at Kilbeggan (good/yielding) in JUne but not much promise to be gleaned from hurdles debut back there in August. Drop back in trip may help but plenty to prove after that.
Has already shown a good level of form in maiden hurdles at Naas, finishing third to useful sorts in Cilaos Emery and Art Of Security. That form looks good enough to take this if he's fit for his seasonal reappearance.
Form a little hit-and miss but his better efforts give him every chance of reaching the frame here, and possible the addition of the hood (can be a little free) may eke out a bit more improvement. Place chances again.
Not doing anything on either the Flat or hurdles to suggest he is up to winning this, and makes little appeal.
Winning point-to-pointer and although there was a little promise to be taken from his hurdles debut at Listowel, he will surely find this trip on the short side.
Point-to-point winner last year and made a decent start over hurdles when a staying-on fourth at Killarney in May. Not seen since, so likely to need the run, and looks one more for handicaps down the line.
Pulled up in all three point-to-points and can only be watched on Rules debut today.
Won a little point-to-point in May and there was definite signs that he can win a hurdle race based on his Killarney debut, but may find things happening a little quickly here and probably needs a step up in trip.
Can't be recommended after finishing well tailed off on debut in a Punchestown bumper in April. Others easily preferred.
Went off an unfancied 66/1 chance but signs of ability when staying on into midfield on Killarney debut last month. Half brother to the useful Thetwincamdrift and that suggests he may want further than today, but worth keeping an eye on.
Not really going anywhere fast in a few bumper and hurdles starts and looks an unlikely winner here. Others hold stronger claims.
Definite signs of promise on bumper debut at Limerick but that was back in 2015 and since coming back from a long absence, has shown little.
Very moderate form in maiden hurdles and despite the addition of cheekpieces today, her best chance will surely lie in handicaps down the line.
Well beaten all starts in maiden hurdles and doing no better for the switch to handicaps more recently. Can't be entertained as the likely winner.
Beat only a couple home on debut at Galway, although broke a blood vessel in the race, which obviously wouldn't have helped. Hood tried today and plenty to prove.
Never in it on debut at Cork in May and looks moderate on that. Looks a most unlikely winner.
Well beaten on only start in a point-to-point and has a very mixed pedigree. Hard to fancy on hurdles debut today.
Forecasts
Arvico Bleu (4/9), Balinaboola Steel (7/1), Port Rashid (8/1), Celebrity Status (12/1), Around The Pound (25/1), Yes Pat (25/1), Ceatharlach (28/1), Horsenjockey (33/1), Yaiza (33/1), Brog Deas Nua (33/1), Whimsical Feeling (50/1), Geni Johnson (50/1), Settimo Milanese (100/1), Lagenod (100/1), Bon Courage (100/1), Ochto Milano (100/1), Tsarina Sophia (100/1)
ARVICO BLUE has been handed another superb opportunity to break his duck and he should be able to take advantage if ready to roll on seasonal debut. His form stands out from the rest and he can get on the scoresheet. Ballinaboola Steel and, in particular, Yalza , are both likely improvers and could reward each-way support.
