Just the one win from 17 over fences, coming over 2m3½f on heavy ground at Limerick in April 2016, but has made the frame on six further occasions. Running well of late and should be involved at the death.

Well beaten in his last four starts over a variety of distances. Nothing of inspiration in his form and others preferred in this having been tailed off at Kilbeggan late last month over 3m1f.

Just about sets the standard based on five chase starts and represents in-form Elliott team. Was right in the mix for valuable handicap at Listowel 17 days ago when coming to grief at the last. Can make presence felt if none the worse.

Veteran who is a duel heavy ground winner in 2012. Well beaten in three starts this season over both fences and hurdles and it could be his best days are behind him.

Forecasts

Bilko (8/15), Some Drama (9/4), Fenlon's Hill (5/1), Golden Plan (10/1), Theturnofthesun (20/1)

Verdict

Bilko is entitled to fairly strong claims given he was in the mix for a valuable prize at Listowel last time before coming to grief. He is greatly respected in this line-up but that was a hefty fall and, with just over a fortnight to recover and a likely odds-on price, there may not be great value in supporting him now. FENLON'S HILL has been running mostly solid races of late and having scored at Galway last week can go well again with a 4lb rise to defy. Similarly, Some Drama hovers around in races like this and has to be given a chance in what is not a strong contest.

  2. Bilko
