Has hit the frame 12 times in 17 career starts but remains a maiden. Third at Kilbeggan over 2m4f on second chase start early this month, should be in the mix again.
Six-year-old with just four tame efforts in maiden hurdles on his CV, off 309 days and makes very limited appeal going chasing for the first time given previous efforts.
Point-to-point winner in March and didn't shape badly on chase bow at Killarney (2m6½f) in May on soft ground, off since by could build on that effort (beat 13L) and have more to offer.

Bumper winner at Down Royal in June 2016, unable to get off the mark in six maiden hurdles last season and, in truth, rarely looked like doing so. First chase start after 256 days off, respected trainer ensures betting check is needed.

Formerly trained by Richard Hannon on the Flat, achieving little, and bar was set similarly low by efforts over hurdles for this handler early this year. Hard to fancy on chase bow.

Coeur Joyeux (11/10), Robin Des Mana (13/8), Danboru (9/2), Kitty B (12/1), Class Honours (25/1), Corskeagh Express (33/1)

Verdict

Coeur Joyeux is the pick of those with experience at this discipline but, with 12 placed efforts from 17 starts and no wins to boast, the risks of taking a short price on his chance are inherent. Instead it might be best to give a chance to chase debutant ROBIN DES MANA for the potent combination of Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell (21% in 2017 so far). He comes here off a break but should know his task and may prove better jumping fences that he was over timber. Danboru ran a decent race at Killarney in May on chase bow in testing conditions and worth noting this afternoon in his return in a race that may not take much winning.
