Now nine-years-old and hasn't scored since 2014, poor for previous handler and 35L last of five at Ballinrobe last month on debut for this yard, hard to find the positives.

Eight Till Latep27
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-5| J: Mark Walsh| T: P Casey| OR:  121| CD
3/1
In cracking form lately, winning three on the spin (two chases, once over hurdles) including over C&D last month. Credible effort over hurdles at Ballinrobe since and, from 2lb lower chase mark, is a leading contender back at this venue over fences.

5/2
Another former C&D winner in this field, she was ½L behind Eight Till Late here last month in second spot and has since scored at Listowel over similar trip with something in hand. Carries an extra 6lb for that and should have her say again.

Hasn't exactly build on decent first chase outing at Killarney in May (2m1f. good) in three further beginners' events. Opening handicap mark however leaves the door open based on ability shown over hurdles and worth market check.

Well beaten off in beginners' event over C&D last month and similar tale next time Killarney, not beyond realms of possibility there will be more offered on handicap bow.
6

Cnoc Na Sioga9
Age: 10|  Weight: 9-10| J: C A Landers(7)| T: J P Ryan| OR:  98
6/1
Ten-year-old has had his problems, but did win a handicap chase off a mark of 106 at Downpatrick in August 2015 (2m5½f, good). Not beaten far last week at Galway over 2m2f and cannot be ruled out on that evidence.

Forecasts

Presenting Mahler (5/2), Eight Till Late (3/1), Voices Of Spring (7/2), Cnoc Na Sioga (6/1), Crazywork De Vassy (8/1), Pumbaa (9/1)

Verdict

Voices Of Spring has shown fleeting glimpses of potential in four starts over fences and, now switched to handicaps, is one to monitor closely from the Tony Martin yard. However it might prove best focus on C&D one-two from last month EIGHT TILL LATE and Presenting Mahler. The selection has been a model of consistency lately and ran nother credible race over hurdles at Ballinrobe most recently. From a lower chase rating, he can confirm superiority over the mare Presenting Mahler who must shoulder a 6lb burden having won gamely at Listowel 11 days ago.
  1. Eight Till Late
  2. Presenting Mahler
