Won a maiden hurdle at this track in August last year over extended two-miles, made little impression after and beaten comprehensively in two spins over hurdles this month after a 356-day break. First chase start, others preferred.
Beaten around 8L here last month over 2m5f on yielding to soft, finishing third of seven and extending winless record over fences to eight. No star but this isn't a strong contest and has to be considered amongst the more likely contenders.
Mare has been beaten out of sight in two bumper runs, coming two years apart, and tackles fences for the first time now. Leap of faith required to see how she can take this prize.
Mare won on bumper and hurdles debuts and also has winning point-to-point form, she returns from 214 days off but certainly merits a second glance in the betting for this first start over the larger obstacles.
Three-time winner this year, twice over flights, and has also posted solid chase form in three starts. May have bumped into a decent one when third behind Montana Belle at Galway and, over a similar trip, sets the standard in this field.
Not managed to beat all that many home in a trio of maiden hurdles at Clonmel, Punchestown and, most recently, here last month over 2m. Set to make her debut over these obstacles and has a lot of questions to answer.
Unplaced in three starts over hurdles, she was beaten 25L in finishing sixth of 14 on chase bow at Limerick in April over 2m3½f on soft ground and has been off since. Best watched seemingly, unless market speaks in favour.

Forecasts
Penny Jane (11/10), Golden Flowerpower (2/1), Balofilo (8/1), Aunt Eileen (12/1), Corella Creek (16/1), Urban Star (20/1), Kittyhawkkay (33/1), Sylvi (66/1)
PENNY JANE sets a fairly decent standard in the context of this race on her efforts over fences at Kilbeggan and Galway recently. She may have bumped into a decent rival when third last time at Ballybrit and can give the in-form Gordon Elliott team a solid start to proceedings by taking this prize. Balofilo wasn't disgraced at this track last month although doesn't appeal as a winner in waiting while Golden Flowerpower, a winning point-to-pointer, is one to keep an eye on having won on her debut outing in a bumper and over timber.
- Penny Jane
- Golden Flowerpower
- Balofilo
