Last spotted winning over hurdles at Down Royal in March in fortuitous fashion, interesting contender here if ready to do himself justice.
Beaten just over 7L in Tramore maiden last month over 1m4f, this calls for more given some of the smart prospects in opposition.
Winner over hurdles (3m) and fences (2m4f) in July, both on good ground. Found 1m2f too sharp on Flat bow at Gowran Park recently and liable to a similar fate now.
Beaten wide margins in pair of Gowran Park maidens over 1m1½f so far on Flat, also well held in a bumper, hard to build any case on form.
Well held on sole previous Flat outing in 1m7f maiden at Leopardstown on good to firm on June, previously well held in a bumper. Returns from a break, looks stable second string on jockey bookings.
Not spotted since falling in Grade 1 mares' hurdle at Cheltenham in March, market can guide but would be an interesting contender if fully tuned up for this.
Dubai Destination gelding was never a threat last month over 1m4f at Tramore on debut and is best watching in this seemingly.
Didn't run badly in 1m2f maiden at this track on debut late last month, but took a backwards step since stepped up to this trip at Listowel, both outings in testing ground and is hard to get excited about now.
Just three starts on the AW in Britain, yet to race beyond 1m, and has been off 282 days. Makes debut for new handler and should be monitored in betting for first start on turf.
Some promising efforts in maidens already but worry is that weaker efforts have recently and when meeting softer ground, may not be suited by conditions.
Has twice hit the frame in maidens already over this sort of trip, big player if able to find some more improvement on this fourth start for powerful connections.
Tale of Two Cities colt makes debut, trainer without a winner in previous 12 months (0-41) in all codes.
Improved on her first two career starts when finishing fourth of 12 beaten 2¼L here at the end of last month over 1m2f, goes up in trip and must improve again.
Much better effort on third start off a short break here over 1m2½f three weeks ago, building on that would give the filly strong claims.
Forecasts
Solo Saxophone (6/4), Jer's Girl (5/2), Sin Sin (9/1), King Jeremy (10/1), Geneva Barracks (11/1), Mystic Traveller (12/1), Our Anniversary (14/1), Pass The Ball (33/1), Mazaaji (33/1), Tale Of Woe (50/1), Social Treasure (50/1), Johnny Carney (66/1), Dubai Key (66/1), Sheldon Cooper (100/1)
JER'S GIRL hasn't been spotted on the Flat since October 2015 but in the interim she has developed a top notch hurdler and it may be worth siding with her on her first start since coming to grief in the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March. If she's fully wound up for this return, she should prove capable of mastering this field. Sin Sin is going the right way and will get off the mark soon if building on a solid run here three weeks again when coming back from a short break while Solo Saxophone, apparently the best of Weld contenders, is also improving nicely with racing. They look the three to concentrate on, with Mystic Traveller next best but a concern on this ground.
- Jer's Girl
- Sin Sin
- Solo Saxophone
