At The Races Sky 415 Handicap Chase

Off time: 16:45 | Winning time: 6m 47.30s

Gingili^t,v³⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: N D Fehily| T: J Farrelly| OR: 125| D

9/2

7-15 under rules and most recently landed his first race over fences under a good ride from today's pilot. Beat a subsequent winner and a 5lb rise seems more than fair. Better on a sound surface so keep an eye on the weather and earlier races.

Form: 31-2121

What Happens Now²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: W T Kennedy| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 122

11/4

Landed three over fences last season and has done the same over hurdles this summer to amass a 6-15 record. Better on good ground and mark no more than fair. Most of these are rising in the weights and that improves his chances if it remains dry.

Form: P-31112

Calin Du Brizais³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: C Gethings⁽³⁾| T: N J Hawke| OR: 122| CD

5/1

Landed two C&D events this summer but has struggled since being reassessed. Looks held by Strumble Head on running here in July.

Form: 311245

Azure Fly^p,t¹⁵⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 11-7| J: J J Burke| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 120| C| D

13/8

Without a win since October 2015 but usually at his best when fresh. This looks easier than his latest assignments and off a career low mark too. Stable 3-10 in the last two weeks.

Form: 2233P4-

Strumble Head^b²⁹

Age: 12| Weight: 11-6| J: James Bowen⁽⁷⁾| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 119| CD

6/1

Boasts an 8-43 career record and 2-5 over C&D. Arrives in fine form but facing better rivals than of late and off his highest mark for two years.

Form: 4-77151

Forecasts

Azure Fly (13/8), What Happens Now (11/4), Gingili (9/2), Calin Du Brizais (5/1), Strumble Head (6/1)

The forecast for good-to-soft ground will concern connections of Gingili and What Happens Now. No further rain is anticipated and they threaten to serve up a treat on their current form. Both have their share of weight and AZURE FLY is picked to end a two year barren spell with his yard having made such a positive start to the campaign. The nine-year-old has produced some of his best performances following a break and lines up here on a career low mark in as easy a race as he has faced in some time.
