Landed four races at Southwell last winter including one under this rider. Has solid form on turf off much higher marks than this, but has also shown a marked preference for some give underfoot. 77 day absence to overcome.
Beat a dual subsequent winner on his return before his inexperience found him out at Thirsk next time. Ran too freely in testing ground at Ascot 11 days ago and this is a much easier task. Drops 2lb in the handicap and can give a good account.
Has looked far from straightforward but received full assistance last time to secure a narrow victory at Goodwood. Up 5lb for that and he would not be one to rely on to follow up.
On same mark as for his Goodwood victory in June (6f). Not beaten far on sole attempt at this trip. Style of running looks tailormade for this stiff 5f and he is 2-5 in this grade.
Better here on Saturday in first time blinkers and for a change of tactics. 3lb lower for this and has chance to finish ahead of Taajub on these terms. Stable are without a winner in the past four weeks and have a modest 5-121 record for the season.
Much improved here on Saturday but may struggle to confirm the form with Coastal Cyclone on these terms. 0-6 at this track but has run some good races here, however stable have had a quiet year.
Beat a modest bunch when landing a maiden at long odds on second start. Readily beaten on handicap debut and current mark looks high enough. Stable 3-7 in past 14 days.
Runs to a consistent level and has clear edge over Look Surprised on a line through Coronation Cottage. Suited by a stiff 5f and should find this track ideal.
All four of his career victories have been gained over 6f and his recent form has been poor. Looks held by Artscape on running at Goodwood in June.
