Made all when making a winning debut at Newmarket in mid August (7f) and that form looks respectable with the third, fourth and fifth all winning since. Excuses when not good enough in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes latest. Penalised for AW debut.

Unraced first foal by Speightstown out of Baragah (a US 7f/1m winner). One to note in the market for leading Middleham based trainer in a competitive looking novice stakes.

Unraced first foal by Kyllachy out of Miss Bunter who fetched €110,000 earlier this year. Her dam was a 5f/6f winner and a half-sister to Group 3 winner Dutch Masterpiece. Holds a Cheveley Park Stakes entry later this month.

Well beaten on both starts so far, and cost just 800 gns as a foal (3,000 gns yearling). No chance in this company against some well bred rivals.

Unraced tenth foal by George Vancouver out of Porza, and fetched €80,000 as a yearling. A half-sister to seven winners including Australian Group 1 winner Pornichet and Portland River.

A 400,000 guineas yearling she's a sister to the high-class 5f performer Mecca's Angel, with the dam a winner at up to 6f. She needs to leave her turf debut behind, but also being a sister to the classy AW performer Markaz, she could well do so.

Unraced fourth foal by Henrythenavigator out of High Days. Half-sister to winners Colibri and Hamla, but she'll need to be sharp in this contest in order to further enhance her trainers strong record with juveniles at this track.

Unraced tenth foal by Havana Gold out of Mania and one of three representatives in this contest for her trainer. Half-sister to 1m winner Majorities, and based on jockey bookings can be expected to improve for the experience.

Unraced first foal by Oasis Dream out of Jeanie Johnston (a 6f to 1m5f winner) who cost £100,000 as a yearling. Would appear to be the stable's second string on jockey bookings.

Unraced first foal by Bated Breath out of Araminte (an unraced half-sister to nine winners). In deep enough on debut, with a trouble free positive showing that can be built upon in a lesser grade the likely primary objective.

Arcano filly out of Janina. Sister to Qatar 1m winner Mutadhamen, and a half-sister to 5f Newcastle winner Suwaan. Posted a respectable third to Gavota (beaten 6½L) on debut at Lingfield (7f good) late last month and drops back in trip to 6f.

Cost 105,000 gns earlier this year (£20,000 yearling), but posted a fairly low-key debut at Wolverhampton last month when only fourth of nine to Corinthia Knight (5f). Looked in need of that experience and this stiffer test is a most definite plus.

50,000 gns juvenile by Iffraaj out of Wizz Up who showed ability on debut when 1¼L second to the more experienced Elnadim Star (Beverley 5f good). Up in trip, and appears the stable's first string on jockey bookings.

Verdict

A race featuring a number of well bred and expensively acquired youngsters which promises to be highly informative with regards the future as much as anything else. With the likes of Enable and Stradivarius strutting their stuff on Tapeta at Newcastle last back-end, hopes will always be high that another hugely talented performer can emerge from humble beginnings. With very little form to be basing a solid judgement upon, the percentage call would be to stick with the twice raced Godolphin runner PEACE TRAIL. She holds a Group 2 Rockfel Stakes entry, and whilst she was found a shade wanting at Goodwood last month, her debut success at Newmarket is working out extremely well indeed.
