Beaten 67L on second jumps start at Ballinrobe in May over just shy of this trip and has been off since. Has plenty to find on that evidence and maiden hurdle at this track back in October over 2m½f.
Consistent and gutsy gelding improved on most recent start to finish second of nine last time out in a Down Royal maiden hurdle over 2m4f. Powerful trainer/jockey combination and entitled to be in the mix for this prize.
Unconvincing on Flat or over hurdles for previous yard, failed to improve in two outings for current handler including heavy defeat over 3m at Listowel a week ago.
Showed minor promise in bumpers last summer but regressing since, beaten when falling at Bellewstown (2m4f, good) on return from 331 days off recently. Others preferred.
Showed plenty promise in three decent bumpers last term at up to 2m2f, returns to the fray for hurdles debut with yard in super recent form, looks a player.
Improved effort in 2m4f Down Royal maiden hurdle this month on second start over timber, beaten just more than 12L into fourth of nine. Needs another step forward.
Fairly exposed seven-year-old gelding at this point, hasn't been threatening in maiden/handicap company this year and well beaten over 2m½f at the festival here in July.
Made good on promise of first two starts when landing 2m Wexford bumper on soft ground in June. Been off since but perfectly feasible he'll have a say in this if taking to the jumping.
Not a lot of confidence can be garnered from four outings in bumpers at up to 2m4f, beaten 28L here in July when last spotted, watching brief advised for this first jumping test.
Unconvincing debut over hurdles at Bellewstown (2m½f, good) last month, having previously failed to show much in bumpers. Best watched currently.
Suffered heavy defeats in two hurdles starts in Britain back in spring of 2016, joined this yard since, goes up in trip but hard to make any case for winning return from 17 months off.
Getting the hang of things in three quick runs over timber recently, just over 11L third of 11 runners in 2m3½f maiden at Kilbeggan 10 days ago. Further improvement likely.

Hurdling newcomers Moyross and Suncroft are much respected, with the former's trainer in flying form lately, and it won't be a surprise to see one or both going well in this contest. Fitness and experience jumping these flights sways the vote in favour of CREADAN GRAE, who was second last time at Down Royal and is a more assured stayer at this stage in his development. The Rap Queen is also worth considering having gained useful experience over the last month.
