It was hard not to be impressed by King's Pavilion's authoritative win in the mud at Carlisle last week and he has obvious claims under a penalty, whilst the highly-progressive Kenstone is bound to have his supporters despite incurring a 9lb rise for last month's C&D win. But, if anything, DAN TROOP looks even more progressive on the evidence of his effortless romp in an apprentices event here last time out and even a 13lb rise may not be enough to anchor Richard Fahey's three-year-old from a plum rail pitch.
