Has shown enough in three starts over fences to suggest he'll be up to winning a race like this, handles the trip but must prove himself in testing ground.
Yard are flying, hasn't exactly looked a winner in waiting in three chase starts so far, but there could be more to come and won on heavy ground over timber so no apparent concerns on this ground.
Excellent prospect, with two wins from five over timber last season, including over 2m4f at Leopardstown in December. Ran fair race over 3m on soft at Punchestown in February when last out, entitled to fair claims on chasing bow / return to action.
Second of nine, beaten 4L, over 2m1f at this track earlier in the week in similar conditions to what seems likely now. Would have been beaten out of sight but for leader crumbling after the final fence, plenty more required over longer trip now.
Well held in a hunter chase over 3m at this track in June on yielding ground, yet to win under rules and facing stiff task on return from 101 days away.
Was acquitting himself as well as 50/1 shot should on chase debut at Killarney last month when unseating rider at the final fence. Can do better over these obstacles in time.
Was already tailed off when pulled up in Cork hunter chase over 3m in April, though did run a decent recent on sole prior rules start at Gowran Park in March over 3m1f on heavy ground. Just five-years-old and could do better, returns from break.
Winner over hurdles, was 7¼L third of 14 at Roscommon in June on soft ground in second chase start, off since, she remains open to better and represents top trainer in what isn't a strong contest.
Forecasts
Une Lavandiere (11/4), Exactoris (11/4), Ballela Boy (10/3), Bosman Rule (9/2), Hand Of The King (10/1), Red River Gold (20/1), Tristram Shandy (20/1), Uisce Ur (40/1)
EXACTORIS was the best of these over timber and should make up into a decent chaser, he returns from a break in this but should know his job well and won't need to be any kind of superstar to make a winning start in this sphere for leading connections. Une Lavandiere also represents a top yard and is respected having run well at Roscommon in June while Ballela Boy can go well if taking to this testing ground. At a bigger price, Uisce Ur could prove capable of making an impact based on her Gowran Park run in March. Bosman Rule, representing the champion trainer/jockey, has work to do on form, but will like the ground.
