Horse A-Z
By Getaway out of a Dr Massini mare. Related to the Nicky Henderson-trained Verdana Blue and dual winner Getabird. A market check is strongly advised.
Related to consistent French chaser Mick Passoa and Wincanton specialist Jimmy The Jetplane. Worth a market check in the run up to the race.

By Arakan out of a Basanta mare. Related to plenty of national hunt winners notably Formidableopponent, Vosne Romanee and Bullet Street. Yard keep decent bumper runners back for this meeting.
Sire has produced five bumper winners from 11 starters with plenty of success with his progeny on heavy ground. Market will be best guide to chances.
Daughter of Ascot Gold Cup legend Yeats. Promising fifth of 15, beaten 11L on debut in May but failed to build on that run with a below-par performance when last of 10 last month.
By Footstepsinthesand out of a Priolo mare. Related to dual Galway festival winner Quick Jack. Yard is one from four with bumpers this term.
Stowaway filly out of a Lomitas mare. Sire has plenty of successful national hunt progeny with the likes of Hidden Cyclone, Champagne Fever and Outlander. Market support could be significant.
Sire's jumps progeny include The Game Changer and promising novice chaser, Flying Angel. Too fresh in the early stages on debut at Ballinrobe last month eventually beaten 30L. First-time hood fitted today.

Forecasts

Churchtown Glen (5/2), Stacey's Pride (4/1), Sand Fly (9/2), Fi's Choice (6/1), Lough Allen Lad (13/2), Hussle Up (7/1), Career Guide (12/1), The Lady Coady (33/1)

Verdict

A bumper that won't take much winning and where a check on market support could be crucial. Sand Fly, Churchtown Glen and Stacey's Pride are interesting newcomers, while preference is for the well-bred LOUGH ALLEN LAD.
  1. Lough Allen Lad
  2. Stacey's Pride
  3. Churchtown Glen
