Beaten favourite but not disgraced when third of seven in Fairyhouse Grade 2 Juvenile hurdle 1½L behind the highly-rated Project Bluebook. Very much in the mix here.
Last seen pulling-up in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham festival. Has form on soft and over the distance but difficult to see what improvement first-time cheekpieces bring.
From a powerful owner/trainer/jockey combination and needs to improve on disappointing run last time out. Big player on her win in a 21-runner maiden hurdle at Roscommon.
Two from four on heavy ground and has won over the distance. Last seen hurdling in April this year at the Fairyhouse and Punchestown festivals but will need vast improvement to take a hand here.
Impressive 7½L win on hurdling debut in a Tramore hurdle over 2m on yielding ground last month. Will be looking to progress but a bigger test here.
Continued his progression winning on his third hurdle start in a 10-runner Downpatrick maiden hurdle over 2m3f. Can be expected to improve in a hotter contest.
Has put in some solid displays in ten hurdle starts winning on two occasions with five place efforts to boot. Has struggled on heavy ground and is still 13lb higher than last win.
Has progressed well in three maiden hurdles winning last time out at Downpatrick. Faces a difficult task at the weights and drop in trip may not suit.
One win from eight starts over hurdles which came on soft ground at Fairyhouse in April. Could struggle still 12lb higher than last win and others hold stronger profiles.
Winner of a Limerick maiden hurdle in March and well beaten since. Hard to see what improvement first-time tongue-tie will bring in this contest.
Forecasts
On The Go Again (7/2), Law Girl (4/1), Ex Patriot (5/1), Prospectus (7/1), Mischievious Max (8/1), Denham Sound (9/1), Unicorn (9/1), Penneys Hun (12/1), From Eden (25/1), Bold Emperor (33/1)
From Eden and Bold Emperor could battle for the lead in the early stages of the contest. On The Go Again and Unicorn are interesting from a place perspective but the winner should come from either of the improving and exciting Ex Patriot and the selection, LAW GIRL who will be getting over a stone from the top-weight.
- Law Girl
- Ex Patriot
- Unicorn
