Arguably better on the Flat but still without a win over hurdles in eight starts with his form having a rather undulating look. Behind Skeaping last time out over further and becoming a little disappointing in this sphere.
Won two of his four bumpers when with Warren Greatrex but had to wait a long time for his hurdles debut. Had an even longer break for his second start over hurdles and now makes his debut for a new yard.
Was already a point-to-point winner when falling on his chase debut under Rules and was then pulled-up on his hurdles debut. Trip looks far too short and best watched on his return to the track.
Hard to find much encouragement in any of his hurdles runs, running no sort of race at all last time and looking regressive overall; faces a tough task here.
0/10 over hurdles but that doesn't tell the whole story as some of his form is reasonable and would give him a leading chance in this weak contest. Finished in front of his main rival last time out and may do better again here.
Won twice on the Flat when he was Michael Bell but hasn't really threatened over hurdles as yet with a 0/5 record. Ought to have the ability to win a weak contest such as this and now with a tongue-tie on for the first time off a break.
Very limited maiden on the Flat only rated 38 and unlikely to be much better over hurdles; hard to fancy on his initial hurdles start.
Forecasts
An Fear Ciuin (6/4), Skeaping (6/4), Strait Of Magellan (5/1), Burlington Bert (18/1), Hey Listen (25/1), Sir Tommy (50/1), Nuova Scuola (80/1)
A very weak and uninspiring contest but it should give SKEAPING chance to finally break his maiden and he holds his main rival An Fear Ciuin on their latest meeting. Burlington Bert showed some useful form in bumpers but it's hard to know what he’ll do on his second hurdles start for a new smaller yard and Straits Of Magellan may prove best of the rest.
