Victorious in a maiden hurdle on heavy ground at Wincanton over 2m4f in March and a fair effort when runner-up over an extended 2m5f at Hereford subsequently. Drops in trip today and wears a first-time tongue-tie.
Impressive 18L winner of a handicap hurdle over 2m at Uttoxeter (good) back in May. Stables horses are running well in the main of late and he is a leading contender with the ground and trip to suit.
Placed in a point-to-point last November and made a winning debut for this yard in a Uttoxeter (good-to-soft) bumper back in May. Disappointing under a penalty subsequently but represents a leading stable on hurdling debut.
Failed to complete on his final six starts in point-to-point company but stepped up markedly on that form when finishing third in a maiden hurdle over C&D a fortnight ago. More needed if he's to take this contest.
Runner-up in a couple of modest point-to-points in the spring but well held on all three starts under rules and likely to be of more interest once eligible for handicaps.
Well beaten in all four outings to date including in first time blinkers (absent today) last time out. Probably best watched on this occasion.

Coole Cody (10/11), Vancouver (7/4), Berry De Carjac (5/1), Holryale (6/1), Shadow's Boy (33/1), Virginia Chick (66/1), Truckers Tangle (100/1)
With underfoot conditions likely to suit COOLE CODY can register his second win under rules by taking this opening novices hurdle. The selection raced prominently when winning at Wincanton in March and under similar tactics can see off another previous winner in the shape of Vancouver. The pair can boast the best form coming into this contest with Berry De Carjac taken to claim third.
