Fifth of eight in a Fairyhouse novice handicap chase over 2m½f following being pulled up in the Arkle at Cheltenham. A check in the betting is advised with the assistance of powerful trainer/jockey combination.
Winner twice a the Listowel Festival last season but lightly raced since and subsequently finished third in the Munster National. Fifth of 10 on seasonal debut in a handicap hurdle at Sligo. Possibly kept for this festival.
Genuine and consistent during a spring and summer campaign but now 17lb higher than chase win at Killarney in July and could be in the grip of the handicapper right now.
Tough and strong during the summer campaign and is well worth a check in the betting but is still 16lb higher than last win at Naas in January.
Made a promising start to his chasing career at Punchestown in May but hasn't been so good on his last three starts with below-par performances.
Not one of the stables bright lights but flickers of a return to form last time out at Kilbeggan in April. Last win came in September 2016 and now back on that winning mark.
Winning his first chase when successful over 2m1f at Tipperary on good to yielding ground but came unstuck at the Galway festival. Certainly one to note but 11lb higher than first win.
Concrete and solid form over the larger obstacles when last seen chasing in three starts in March. 5lb higher than last win at Limerick over 2m1f but can continue improvement here.
Only a beginners chase win to her name over fences but has performed admirably in last two chase starts at Wexford and Sligo. Out of the handicap but has gone well on soft ground in the past.

Jack The Wire (9/2), Bilko (5/1), Three Stars (11/2), Sir Jack Yeats (11/2), Kylecrue (6/1), The Gatechecker (6/1), Attribution (6/1), New Kid In Town (9/1), Black Zero (12/1), Presenting Mahler (14/1), Emcon (14/1)
Could be some vying for the lead in the early stages with Kylecrue, Sir Jack Yeats and Attribution all been known to make the running in the past. Emcon, Black Zero and the top-weight Attribution decent third of 10 at the Galway festival, can battle for the minor honours while preference is for KYLECRUE who won on two occasions at this festival last year, one of which was this race.
- Kylecrue
- Attribution
- Emcon
