Successful over 2m4f at Perth (good) in April but disappointing in two subsequent starts for previous yard and a similar result on debut for this stable over C&D last time. Wears blinkers for the first time today.
Made a winning debut for this stable when winning over 2m4f at Uttoxeter (good-to-soft). Turned out three days later under a 7lb penalty but could finish only second and remains one for the shortlist off a mark 9lb higher than for that latest win.
Successful on her sole start for previous stable in a selling contest at Stratford (good-to-soft) in May. Finished a close third in a four runner event on debut for this stable eight days later and returns from a break today.
Winner of this race in 2016 and just touched off over an extended 3m2f at Newton Abbot (good-to-soft) on her most recent outing back in July. Interesting runner today having won over C&D twice in the past.
Bumper winner and off the mark over hurdles when pulling 19L clear of her six rivals over 2m4f at Worcester (good) last month. Races off a mark 5lb higher than when finishing fourth at the same course on her penultimate start.
Ran well when finishing a close second over 2m5f at Ludlow (good) in April and in the process of running a decent race when falling on chasing debut the following month. Returning from a four month absence today.
Well held on only hurdles start since winning at Ffos Las (good-to-soft) in May and a similar result in three Flat starts this summer. Others make more appeal in this contest.
Wears a visor for the first time having disappointed at Newton Abbot (good-to-firm) last time out. Races off a 3lb lower mark today and worth a check in the market today.
Forecasts
Poetic Lady (10/3), Kentford Heiress (7/2), Miss Spent (4/1), Princess Roania (11/2), Midnight Gem (6/1), Marienstar (10/1), Ayla's Emperor (20/1), Miss Maiden Over (33/1)
MISS SPENT can give the in form Dan Skelton (6/21) yard a win in this opening mares handicap hurdle. The race probably came too quick for her when finishing runner-up under a penalty last time out and with the ground and trip both likely to suit she can get the better of Kentford Heiress who stays this trip well and took this contest last year while Poetic Lady a winner last time out in a maiden hurdle can claim third.
- Miss Spent
- Kentford Heiress
