Very much shaped as though he needed the experience on his debut over 6f on testing ground at Nottingham raced off the pace and failed to get on terms. May know a little more here but still looks to be one of the bigger priced runners.
One of four newcomers in the field he a half-brother to five winners including the two-year-old 6f winner Adele Blanc Sec. Stable run two here and on the jockey bookings he looks very much the second string.
Cost 115,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to three winners including the smart winner at up to 6f Gracious John. Nice enough pedigree but yard are not exactly known for their juvenile debutante winners.
Has the best form of those that have run with all his runs coming over 5f but looked a little one paced last time and may well be suited by the step-up to 6f. Stable have a good record here and he's respected although he could be vulnerable.
Cost €45,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to a 7f juvenile winner in Mandeville with the dam being unraced. Yard can often produce a useful juvenile and he's well worth looking at in the market.
One of two debutantes from the stable here and he looks the stable neglected despite a decent enough pedigree. Yard are running at around an 11% strike-rate overall but have a poor record with their debut runners overall.
Just the one run so far when he looked backward and in need of the run over 5f at Nottingham on better ground than he'll face here. One of the bigger priced fancies here it may well be that he needs this again and nurseries will be more his thing.

Ginbar (11/8), Knighted (11/4), Desert Doctor (4/1), Finnion Fox (5/1), Deecider (8/1), Sapper (16/1), Cavalry Regiment (33/1), Snaffled (50/1)
The first of two interesting two-year-old races on the card that features some newcomers with decent pedigrees and it may well be that one of those in KNIGHTED can make a winning start to his career. Of those that have run Ginbar sets the standard and he should be suited by the step-up t o 6f although his form doesn’t look to making as much progression as once appeared likely. Finnion Fox looks as though he may be able to take a race but handicaps may be more his thing and it will pay to see how the market treats the two Ed Walker newcomers in Desert Doctor and Sapper.
- Knighted
- Ginbar
- Desert Doctor
