Takes a drop in grade here, which may help the situation, but it needs to as he was a most disappointing favourite at Market Rasen last time out, jumping poorly and never in it. Risky at present and others make more appeal.
Another taking a drop in grade but it's been a tale of woe for some time now, no win for almost two years and even when he's had his ideal conditions he's run well below form. Visor back on now so needs a market check, but hard to fancy.
Winner of a minor point-to-point this year but no win under Rules in 21 starts and another change of headgear is tried here. Stablemate of Panis Angelicus and yard can land a punt, so again, needs a glance in the market, but hard to make a case for.
Doesn't win many but tends to be fairly consistent, and did win a C&D seller here in July. 4lb higher than that here but likely conditions fine, and as he's more likely to run his race than a few here, may well pick up a prize of some sort.
Well backed to make a winning debut for this yard at Bangor last time but found an in-form Prince Khurram too good. No disgrace in that, and as he's gone close over this C&D earlier in the season, conditions should be ideal and he ought to go close.
Really game winner of a little race at Fontwell last time, making most and finding plenty when challenged late. Drop back in trip here possibly not ideal, but only 4lb higher than that win and his good attitude means he deserves respect here.
No win form seven starts and well beaten on most occasions. Has done little in handicaps to suggest he's up to winning this, but top jockey booked again and yard also run two others in the contest, so again, needs a look in the market.
Has been in great form lately and gained a deserved win for her efforts at Stratford last time, winning by the minimum margin. Up 5lb for that and likely to face competition for the lead here, so may need more again.
Sent off big prices on most starts and did no better for the step into handicaps last time. Hard to construct any sort of case for and makes very little appeal.
Veteran that did win a race over shorter here last summer and is actually 3lb lower here already, but that's come as a result of some moderate efforts since. Will give This trip is probably further than he wants, and on that, others preferred.
Handicapper has given him a chance on his best form but he's not been seen out since October 2015 and will surely need the run after such an absence. Only of interest if very strong in the market.
On a decent enough mark on best of her form but two efforts this summer leave plenty to be desired. This trip probably in excess of her best as well and she looks an unlikely winner.
Ran okay at Uttoxeter over just short of three miles last year, but never matched that in three subsequent efforts and likely to need this after a 13-month absence. Good jockey booking and on that alone, worth a cursory glance in the market.
Forecasts
On Alberts Head (5/4), Borderlinedecision (5/1), Findusatgorcombe (7/1), Starlit Night (7/1), Aaman (11/1), Taste The Wine (12/1), Panis Angelicus (16/1), Ann Maries Reject (25/1), Kovera (33/1), Bobby Dove (33/1), Shes A Gangster (40/1), Pennies And Pounds (50/1), Telmadela (66/1)
This is very winnable, and ON ALBERTS HEAD won't get many better opportunities to double his hurdles tally. He comes here in better form than most of these and if repeating his latest effort, will take a bit of beating. Findusatgorcombe should ensure there's no hanging around and the selection can't afford him too much rope on the front end, given he stays well. Taste The Wine hits the frame with some regularity and can take the bronze.
