Has been mixing his Flat runs with hurdling of late and is a winner in both spheres despite suffering a mishap over obstacles last time. The visor worn for the first time when winning over C&D returns here and this tough sort is much respected.

Lightly-raced sort who looked to be building up to something when winning over a mile last time out off a 3lb lower mark. Did look well suited by that trip (strong traveller) so slightly worrying to see him stepped up to this distance again.

Has shown some promising form on her first two runs since being mover to this yard with the outing at Thirsk showing her in the best light. She failed to build on that last time out though on quick ground and a return to this surface may suit better.

Verdict

This has the makings of a decent contest that will take a little bit of winning with the Dalgleish pair being of interest and it may be worth giving EYREBORN another chance after she disappointed last time out on her return to a more forgiving surface. Taxmeifyoucan looks a tough sort and he’s not easily written off and could give the yard a 1-2 here with Chinese Spirit not sure to be suited by this distance with Katebird and Duck Egg Blue looking held off their current marks.
