Forecasts

Old Persian (10/11), Algam (4/1), Kit Marlowe (9/2), Gododdin (5/1), Real Estate (16/1), Dream Mount (25/1), Hidden Dream (66/1), Topapinion (100/1)

Verdict

OLD PERSIAN made a promising debut in a competitive looking Newmarket maiden and he is taken to get off the mark at the second time of asking here. The selection represents a stable with a 20% strike-rate at this venue in recent seasons and he can improve on that here at the chief expense of Algam, a winner on turf over 7f last time out while another previous winner Kit Marlowe who finished runner-up in a nursery here last time can claim third.
  1. Old Persian
  2. Algam
  3. Kit Marlowe
