C&D winner in April who followed with a comfortable success in this grade at Beverley. Handicapper has been after him since but he still looks the one to beat.
Inconsistent sort who collected on soft ground in July and finished well beaten at Pontefract last time. Hard to know which side of his character will be present here and further rain would be a help.
Down below his last winning mark after two dismal performances this summer. Has been sidelined waiting for better ground and returns with the yard in excellent form.
Winner in better company off 2lb higher in June. Has struggled off his revised mark since but handicapper relents here. Stable continue in good form and an interesting contender.
Has gone 17 races without a win and now pitched into this grade for the first time. Mark continues to slip and talented claimer is on board. Stable do well here and one to note in the market.
Has produced two good runs in this grade in 2017 but his last two efforts have been woeful. A further drop in the weights, the addition of a tongue-tie and a good claimer make him interesting.
Only managed one good run for David O'Meara and has been poor in both starts for new connections. Hard to fancy.

Forecasts
Mr Strutter (6/4), Stringybark Creek (9/2), Dapper Man (5/1), Be Bold (11/2), Twentysvnthlancers (7/1), Spike (14/1), Equipe (33/1), Precious Skye (100/1)
This looks an above average seller for the track with a number of participants having fair form in better company. Stringybank Creek is usually thereabouts without having enough to win but he catches the eye with a good claimer on board. Dapper Man is weighted to be competitive and he has scored over C&D. MR STRUTTER has winning form at this level and in better company. His last few efforts have not escaped the attention of the handicapper, but he can be relied upon to give an honest account and that makes him attractive in this company.
- Mr Strutter
- Dapper Man
- Stringybark Creek
