Won three novices' handicap chases last summer, but has not been seen over fences since breaking a blood vessel at Aintree in October. Three novice hurdle wins have shown he is back to full health and he has strong claims on his return to chasing.

Back to winning ways at Worcester in July when blinkered for the first time. The headgear remains on and a tongue tie is fitted for the first time, but he has to cope with a 6lb rise.

Has looked a difficult ride at time, but recent efforts have been solid and there was nothing wrong with his attitude when winning at Perth last time. Jockey bookings suggest he is the stable's second string, but he is respected in his current mood.

Has lost his way since showing good form early in 2016, but his handicap mark has tumbled and he could be a player, particularly if first-time blinkers have a positive effect.

Winning hurdler whose first appearance over fences saw him jump well to win a novices' handicap at Uttoxeter. A 4lb rise is fair and he looks the best of two stable representatives.

Six wins from 25 chase starts is not a bad return but, barring a good effort at Worcester three starts ago, recent displays have been poor. Well handicapped if anywhere near his best, but needs to find a spark. Looks his stable's second string.

Forecasts

Dr Robin (3/1), Sebastian Beach (10/3), Cernunnos (7/2), What Happens Now (7/2), Valleyofmilan (6/1), Clubs Are Trumps (20/1)

Verdict

Sebastian Beach jumped well to win on his chasing debut and looks the best of his stable's two runners, while Dr Robin has claims after returning to form last time. Cernunnos will need the blinkers to have a galvanising effect if he is to figure, so this should be left to WHAT HAPPENS NOW, who returns to chasing in rude health after three hurdles wins and is open to improvement in this sphere. His stable companion, Valleyofmilan, should be thereabouts if on a going day.
