Connections still trying to find his best trip, but in process of running well when running out at Leopardstown on latest start. Capable of a big run, although clearly needs treating with caution.
Impressive winner of a Leopardstown bumper on racecourse bow, and shaped quite well on first flat start at Ballinrobe last month. Fair bit more required now, but likely to improve.
Largely well beaten over shorter for other yards, and makes no appeal for latest trainer after a lengthy break.
Pour Moi half-brother to several winners, although picked up quite cheaply as a 2-y-o. Hooded for racecourse debut, and others bring more pressing claims.
Rock of Gilbraltar gelding out of multiple listed winner up to 1½m Les Fazzani. Makes appeal on pedigree for all this represents a belated debut. Worth a market check for signs of confidence.
Has been noted doing good late work on both starts this year, and seemed to handle soft ground well when third at the Curragh on most recent outing. Should improve further, and not one to take lightly.
High Chaparral half-brother to connections' high-class stayer Forgotten Rules, and stable is currently enjoying a purple patch after a difficult summer. One to be interested in, particularly if strong in betting.
Built on debut promise at second attempt when third at the Curragh (1½m, firm) last month, despite meeting some trouble. Softer ground to deal with here, but has claims if effective on ground.
Represents same connections as Military Poet, and appears to be the pick of stable jockey Pat Smullen. Visored now after promising debut at Roscommon, and market will be useful.
Well held on sole 2-y-o start at Dundalk, but showed much improved form up in trip and wearing blinkers when runner-up over 13f at Ballinrobe in June. Sure to improve further, and one for the shortlist.
Diamond Green gelding who was well beaten on racecourse bow at Navan in the spring, and must leave that well behind to be competitive on return from a break.

The market will be informative given the in-form Dermot Weld saddles both Solo Saxophone and the well-bred newcomer Military Poet. The former appears first choice, and needs respect with a visor fitted on the back of a promising debut, but marginal preference is for St Leger entry SQUIRE'S TALE, who stepped up markedly at Ballinrobe, and will progress again. Sing Like The Sea has solid form claims if handling the conditions, with Fort Denison not dismissed given how he's progressing with racing.
