Has shown ability on the Flat, albeit at a modest level, but was a recent winner over 10f at Bath (soft ground) and may be able to make an impression in handicaps down the line. This looks hard on debut though, and others make more appeal.

Winner on the Flat for Sir Michael Stoute and has a couple of good pieces of form to his name, but that was back in 2015 and he's not been seen since. First run for Dan Skelton, so of obvious interest on that, but absence means he has risks.
Has shown only the merest glimmer of ability in two starts over hurdles so far and no realistic chance of success here.
Signs of ability in a couple of Newton Abbot bumpers in the spring but two poor efforts over obstacles so far and on that, can only be watched today.

Pulled too hard for his own good on hurdles debut here earlier in the month but still showed more than enough to think a race of this quality is within his compass, and the hood today can only help the situation. Looks a big player.

Fell twice in novice/maiden hurdles but shaped a bit better than bare result at Southwell last time and may do better here. Yard not having many winners at present though, and overall, others hold stronger claims.
Jumped poorly and showed little on debut here in June and no realistic chance of success based on that.
Looked to have a good future ahead of her when winning a Mares bumper on debut at Wetherby in January (second and third winners since) and simply pulled too hard in a valuable race at Aintree when last seen. Has to be of interest here.

Forecasts

Horseshoe Bay (5/6), Amadoue (5/2), Mountain Path (5/1), Berkeley Vale (10/1), Mac Bella (16/1), The Land Agent (50/1), Trampling Dust (50/1), Lion Of Lackabane (66/1)

Verdict

Not many to concentrate on here, and in the hope the hood does the trick for AMADOUE he should be able to build on his debut and go close here. Horseshoe Bay and Mountain Path will prove dangerous if taking to hurdles.
  1. Amadoue
  2. Mountain Path
  3. Horseshoe Bay
