Often runs well around here and managed to win here in July over this trip off a mark of 54 and wasn't disgraced trying to follow-up over further (2m) here last time. Not the most reliable these days and gives weight away all round.
Ideally suited by a strongly run race where he can come from off the pace and got that when winning a selling handicap on his penultimate start. Raised 6lb for that win and back in trip he still ran well last time and considered here.
Started his career in bumpers before being switched to the Flat and running in sellers/maidens over shorter trips than today. Now goes handicapping and stepped up in trip but still makes fairly limited appeal.
Never won over this trip and form over it looks modest having done all his winning over shorter trips. Last win came over 1m1f at Redcar off a mark of 54 and he's found higher marks than this testing in the past.
Starting to ease down the handicap and ran a lot better than previously this season with the tongue-tie back on (retained here) last time out. Mark looks workable in an poor race and may be worth taking a chance with here.
Travelled well last time out but possibly did too much too soon when finishing third at Thirsk. He's not one to be going to mad about but he did show more there than of late and this is an easier grade than last time.
Shown very little in three runs this year and looks as though very little ability remains and would be a surprise winner here.

Tambour (2/1), Sakhalin Star (4/1), Jonny Delta (9/2), Mr Sundowner (5/1), Ivors Involvement (11/2), Free State (6/1), Wee Bogus (22/1), Wolf Heart (50/1)
Not the strongest of handicaps and it may be worth taking a chance that IVORS INVOLVEMENT can build on his run last time at Thirsk where he showed plenty of promise having travelled well and this isn’t any stronger. Tambour is another sort who has been flirting with the idea of winning and could well take another step forward with Jonny Delta expected to give his running around here. Sakhalin Star may not get the strong pace that he needs to aim at here while Mr Sundowner could struggle over this 1m4f trip having never really proved his stamina.
- Ivors Involvement
- Tambour
- Jonny Delta
