Has now gone 13 runs without a win and tossed away his chance last time at Killarney with a sluggish start, hood back on here but easier to look elsewhere.
Remains a maiden but showed some progress over a mile at Dundalk earlier this month when sporting first-time cheekpieces (retained) and could have more to offer.
Long in the tooth but winning reappearance at Listowel (1m, good) in June and despite being 9lb higher here is not discounted.
Still a maiden and often flatters to deceive, there is talent lurking however and dangerously low in the ratings now.
Winner at Listowel on reappearance in June and generally consistent since, gave away chance at the start last time at Killarney and is only 4lb above winning mark if getting away smartly.
Unplaced in five starts to date and rarely looked threatening, too bad to be true last time at Cork (7f, soft) but overall has plenty to prove.
Still a maiden but some encouraging signs since joining this yard, went well for a long way over 7f on AW at Dundalk last time and longer trip to suit. Could win a race from this low mark.
Filly has run some decent races in five starts for this handler without necessarily looking likely to win one. Poor last time at Ayr, goes up in trip now with cheekpieces back on.
Poor strike rate (1-32), went close on penultimate start at Gowran Park (7f, yielding) though since failed to back that up at Tipperary over an extra half-furlong. Win came over this trip.
A 12-race maiden now, efforts at Killarney and Gowran Park in May/June over this trip left a lot to be desired and hard to predict a leading role back from a short break.
Has flirted with taking a step back in the right direction on a few occasions but not the most consistent type and hard to see him troubling the principals here.
No win since 2015 but some encouraging efforts lately and with blinkers back on here a decent showing wouldn't come as a surprise.
All three victories have come in claiming/selling company and well held in seven starts since joining this yard last November. Stamina for this trip is questionable.
Well beaten and no impression on last three handicap starts at the end of last season. Due to make belated seasonal debut and beaten on all four runs on soft going.
Outran odds of 50/1 last week at the Curragh in 6½f handicap, still to find the frame in seven career starts and this trip is an unknown factor.
Has mostly raced over sprint distances, winner over 6f at Fairyhouse in June but out of sorts since. Tackling the mile for the first time if getting in (First Reserve).

MOSTAWFEE is a speculative selection in what appears a tough handicap to assess, with no outstanding candidates. The Dandy Man gelding shaped well on his seasonal bow at Tipperary in April over just shy of this trip, he hasn’t exactly built on that since but there were some positives from his recent AW outing and, now rated 11lb lower than he started the term, he could prove up to this if in the mood. Lightening Stricks won at Listowel in June on his sole run of the year to date and isn't overlooked despite carrying another 9lb now while Baby Power and Snap Click are others that could be given a chance.
- Mostawfee
- Lightening Stricks
- Busy Bush
