Has been making plenty hay here this summer and is three from three over fences at the track, including twice over this trip. Has won over further, but a big shock should he not oblige again over this shorter journey.
Remote runner-up on each of last three starts, one of those came over C&D behind Alcala to the tune of 33L in two-runner race and, barring an accident, that form should hold up despite first-time tongue tie going on.
Mare has two win from 18 starts over flights, makes her chase debut here and will stay the trip but unlikely to make a winning start again this pair of rivals.

ALCALA is aiming for the five-timer for Paul Nicholls and he has already enjoyed plenty success at this track this summer. He should be able to extend his winning sequence but Exxaro may close the gap a bit having gone down by 33L over C&D in June in a match. Sheer Poetry is unlikely to split the front two on her chase debut assuming all three get around in one piece.
