14/1
Fifth of 11, on chasing debut at Kilbeggan earlier this month. Made a couple of mistakes on the way round, but wholly acceptable start.
2
Horse silk
7/2
Didn't build on decent second of in Clonmel beginners chase over the extended 2m1f on heavy ground, when falling, when beaten in third, at the same track. Not ruled out.
3
Horse silk
7/4
Bumper winner at Wexford (over 2m4f) in May, coming right away late in the piece. Solid third of 14 in Killarney beginners on good ground last wek. Quick return and distance will suit.

66/1
Has been hurdling recently, including finishing last of 16, tailed off at the Galway festival and ended up last of six, tailed off in a Killarney Q.R. race.

Lilywhite Gesturet9
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: D N Russell| T: G Elliott| OR:  98| D
6/1
Sent off not unfancied at Tramore last time out in beginners chase over 2m6f, but was beaten by 'sketchy' jumping stablemate Theatre Wine. More expected here.

Rosie Alice15
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-5| J: Paul Townend| T: C Byrnes| BF
11/4
Beaten favourite when second of seven last time out in handicap hurdle here earlier this month. Failed to finish on two previous chase starts in November and December last year. Only going winner in the race.
7
Horse silk
33/1
Winner over distance and in a field of this size, finished well behind Lilywhite Gesture, in the race won by Theatre Wine. Best watched.
8
Horse silk
Think Of Me7
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: P J Cawley(7)| T: B Cawley| OR:  88
33/1
Last seen over hurdles. Chasing figures are poor in three career starts over the larger obstacles, beaten 75L, 49L and failing to finish at Sligo.
9
Horse silk
16/1
Disappointing on chasing debut when not unfancied. 13th of 15, beaten 52L at Tramore, when mistakes five out and four out, put paid to any chance. First-time tongue-tie/cheekpieces combination is sure to help.

Forecasts

Major Destination (7/4), Rosie Alice (11/4), Logical Song (7/2), Lilywhite Gesture (6/1), Double Speak (14/1), A Year To Remember (16/1), Star Counsel (33/1), Think Of Me (33/1), Pablo San (66/1)

Verdict

I expect Lilywhite Gesture will be ridden closer to the place today as Davy Russell allowed stablemate, Theatre Wine get to far ahead. Double Speak and Major Destination, along with A Year To Remember are sure to be up there from the start and could fight for minor honours, but I suggest LILYWHITE GESTURE, will get the script right here.
  1. Lilywhite Gesture
  2. A Year To Remember
  3. Major Destination
