Successful on two of her last three starts including over this C&D on good-to-soft ground last time out. Raised 3lb for her latest victory and is one for the shortlist here.

Victorious twice in ten Flat starts but well beaten in three runs at Ascot since returning from a spell hurdling and wears blinkers for the first time here.

Ran well when finishing third behind Taws over C&D earlier this month. Races off the same mark today and rated just 3lb higher than for his most recent victory.

Sole success came in a three runner maiden at Nottingham (good-to-soft) in October 2015. Held in two starts this year and probably best watched on his first attempt at this trip.

Successful over 1m6f at Ffos Las (good) last month and run well in defeat twice since most recently over hurdles at Newton Abbot (good) earlier this month. Interesting to see how he fares in this.

Well held third on debut for this yard at Epsom (good) last month and beaten a minimum of 19L in a couple of hurdle races since. Finished second on the first of those and worth a check in the market here.

Finished runner-up twice over 2m at Goodwood earlier this year and outclassed when contesting a staying event at Royal Ascot in June. Better effort here last time but work to do to reverse form with Taws.

Easy novice hurdle winner at Fontwell (good-to-firm) in June and ran well when beaten 1L by Authorized Too at Ffos Las over 2m last month. Disappointed last time out however and needs to put that behind him here.

Winning for the tenth time when successful over 2m1f at Pontefract (good) recently. Carries a 6lb penalty for that success and has won off higher marks in the past.

Ran well when finishing runner-up over this trip at Musselburgh (good) last month. Blinkers (retained) worn for the first time on that occasion but pulled up over fences subsequently and needs to bounce back today.

Forecasts

Taws (2/1), Wolfcatcher (9/2), Authorized Too (6/1), Arty Campbell (7/1), Nabhan (8/1), Medburn Cutler (9/1), Yes Daddy (10/1), Murgan (11/1), Wordiness (14/1), Sleep Easy (14/1), Plymouth Sound (14/1), Norab (20/1), Silver Quay (20/1)

Verdict

AUTHORIZED TOO can complete a Flat treble following wins at Kempton and on his most recent start in this sphere at Ffos Las a month ago. The selection has run well over hurdles in the interim period and can defy a 3lb rise in the weights here at the chief expense of Taws who was a C&D winner recently while the third on that occasion Arty Campbell can fill the same position on his return to quicker ground in this.
  1. Authorized Too
  2. Taws
  3. Arty Campbell
