Rated 4lb higher than when 7f Class 4 event at Sandown in September, generally consistent during AW campaign this year without winning, off 65 days now.

Yarmouth (good to firm) winner over 7f in June and ran well when 1L second over same trip on AW subsequently. Disappointed off a 2lb higher mark on good to soft going at Yarmouth (7f) since. Upped in trip now.

Two efforts over this trip last month at Haydock were more encouraging, still relatively lightly-raced and has scope to do better having dropped again in the weights.

Has shown plenty promise in Yarmouth (1m, good) and Nottingham (1m½f, heavy) maidens recently and is one to note in the betting ahead of this first handicap outing.

Paco Boy filly has shown precious little in three spins in maidens thus far, could be open to doing plenty better now switched handicaps but has work to do seemingly.

Front runner, didn't get her own way last time at Sandown in apprentice contest over this trip, goes on any surface seemingly and dangerous to concede her a soft touch up front but may have competition here.

Thriving currently, she's won her previous four starts at Lingfield, all with some ease underfoot. Likes to lead and not assured of getting that easy here but well treated on the back of latest winning performance.

Remains a maiden and just one encouraging performance to date came at Kempton last month, not built on that since at Leicester (both 7f) and was well held in maiden at this track in May.

Forecasts

Arctic Flower (13/8), Sandy Shores (9/2), Conqueress (5/1), Himalayan Queen (6/1), Love Me Again (10/1), First Experience (14/1), Coya (20/1), Doodle Dandy (25/1)

Verdict

The in-form Arctic Flower holds strong claims on the back of her latest Lingfield success. She did that with plenty in hand early in the wee and, from the same mark, must be high on the list. She is now at a different track however and, with potential opposition for the lead in the shape of Sandy Shores, she might be worth taking on. If that duo get into a battle, it might set things up for those behind. LOVE ME AGAIN shown some promise lately at Yarmouth and Nottingham and might be worth taking a chance on switched to handicapping. Conqueress is also worth considering having posted two good runs at Haydock last month.
  1. Love Me Again
  2. Arctic Flower
  3. Conqueress
