Looks a fairly useful performer and was tried in Listed company as a juvenile (beaten favourite in that sphere). Again tried in that grade this year (unsuccessfully) and then made his handicap debut last time (mark looked stiff) and eased in grade here.

Looks a quirky sort but the hood and blinkers combination saw him improve to take a Bath handicap in July off 3lb lower. Proved himself capable off this mark on his AW debut last time over 7f and should make an impression here back over 6f.

Twice a winner already this year over 6f in lesser company than this it may well be that the handicapper has now caught up with him. Unable to score at odds-on last time out this grade may well be beyond him and he faces a tough task here.

Ground (good-to-soft) and a first-time visor appeared to be the catalysts for a belated C&D handicap win in June off a mark of 74. The penalty for that win has been a revised mark which has pushed him above a mark of 80 and he looks poorly treated now.

Her progress looked to have stalled (won two races earlier in the season) but the application of cheekpieces (first-time) and a return to Yarmouth saw her bounce back. Quirky sort who is now off her highest mark who needs the headgear to work again.

Showed improved form to win on her second juvenile start she's yet to win in handicaps with her better form coming on good ground. Struggled to show anything like her best on heavy ground last time and cheekpieces go on for the first time.

Looks a fairly useful sort on her day with two wins to her name this season although both of those came in a lower grade and she was well beaten over C&D last time. Has work to do on the basis of that run meeting some improvers in this.

Verdict

Inevitably there are a few that are on the up here although they will have to produce a little more to take this. One of those would be IN THE SPOTLIGHT who is now off her highest mark but gives the impression there is more to come. The same could be said of Glenamoy Lad who could well bounce back here after a run that left a little bit to be desired last time out. Kodiline is eased in grade and can’t be written off with Rely On Me worth a second look in the first-time cheekpieces back on better ground.
