Very useful mare with an exceptional strike rate, she comes here off a good Newmarket run over this trip and should give her running. Career-best called for giving away weight in every direction.

Just three starts on the Flat for three-time bumper winner, acquitted herself well in Chester maiden over this sort of trip latest, but this is much tougher.

Winner of three from five starts since joining this yard, including last month over C&D. Floored in Haydock Group 3 since and others have better claims in this line-up.

Winner of two from four starts so far, including fillies' Listed race at Goodwood over 1m2f in May. Narrowly denied on first attempt at this trip in the Group 2 Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot last time and sets the standard here.

Frankel filly, cost 450,000 gns as a yearling. Very professional performance on debut but couldn't follow up in Listed company last time. Still completely unexposed but has to step up markedly on form to date.

Progressive filly with three wins from four starts this term, trainer is going very well at the moment and further improvement looks likely after winning on first try at this trip last time at Brighton with plenty in hand.

Good winner at Ayr last month (1m2f, good to soft), has a question to answer tackling this trip for the second time and likely to find it tough, place claims perhaps.

Good winner of an AW maiden at Kempton last time out over this trip, trainer operating 26% strike rate lately and respected runner despite stepping into a much tougher environment now.

Serenada8
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: Andrea Atzeni| T: R Varian| OR:  96

Sandown maiden on return and was third here in Group 3 Musidora here in May over 1m2f. Mixed back since in three runs but impossible to dismiss her claims nonetheless.

Forecasts

Mori (10/11), Aljezeera (6/1), Curlew River (7/1), More Mischief (9/1), Fleur Forsyte (12/1), Ouja (20/1), Serenada (20/1), Euro Nightmare (20/1), Shearling (50/1), Zain Arion (50/1)

Verdict

MORI is having her sights lowered here having lost very little caste in defeat in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot last time. She looks a progressive filly and could be well up to this challenge for the Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore partnership. Curlew River is another going the right way this term and she cannot be ruled out after a fine display over the trip at Brighton last time while Serenada would have a chance if getting back to the sort of form she showed here in May. The unexposed Aljezeera and Ouja are others that command some consideration.
  1. Mori
  2. Curlew River
  3. Aljezeera
