Listed winner at Pontefract in June (1m4f, good to firm) and since run with credit in Group races at Haydock and in France. Place claims here perhaps.

Didn't need to improve to win a Listed contest at Ayr but produced a fine effort in a Group 1 at the Curragh last time out to get the better of a smart Aidan O'Brien filly. Profile suggests she may not want the rain that arrived early in the week.

Breeders' Cup Turf winner has come up short back on these shores at this level over the summer. Another that won't have her case helped by any further rain.

Repeatedly finished well in arrears of Enable this season and also no match for Coronet at Royal Ascot. Comes here on the back of Listed success in Ireland but this is infinitely tougher.

Won the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot either side of proving no match for Enable in the Oaks at Epsom and the Irish version at the Curragh. No reason to suspect that form will change now.

Beaten just once in her five-race career, she showed her stamina to win the Oaks at Epsom in June before cantering away with the Irish Oaks. Last month she gave a sound beating to Eclipse hero Ulysses at Goodwood and she should be winning again.

Enable (1/4), Nezwaah (7/1), Queen's Trust (12/1), Coronet (16/1), Alluringly (16/1), Abingdon (33/1)

Verdict

ENABLE has landed two Classics and a Group 1 against her elders this summer, proving herself to be way out of the ordinary in doing so. She sets a lofty standard and it requires a leap of faith to envisage a scenario in which she gets beaten today. The rain that has arrived this week must be a worry for supporters of Queen's Trust and Nezwaah, so the likes of Abingdon or Alluringly might fancy their chances of grabbing extra prize money with soft ground no issue.
