Got badly bogged down in the mud on his debut at Ffos Las in December but looked much more the finished article when winning at Newton Abbot finding plenty for pressure. Penalty on quicker ground makes life tougher but has the best form on offer.
Started life in this sphere with a reasonable third at Uttoxeter but regressed when well beaten behind King Vince last time out. May have found that race coming too soon but still has something to find here.
Looked to need the run on his debut (took a good hold) but didn't really show an awful lot to work with for the future and best watched here.
Started a well-backed favourite on his debut (King Vince won that contest) and although well beaten in the end he shaped better than the distance he was beaten by. Very much open to improvement here and should know more this time around.
The only one in the field making his debut he cost €9,000 as a three-year-old and is a half-brother to bumper winner/fair hurdler Fourni. Yard have a decent strike rate in bumpers over the last five years and worth a look in the market.
Showed very little ability on her debut at Worcester in June and dropped away quickly in from around halfway. Would need to show much more here to take a hand.
Didn't look the easiest ride on her debut at Stratford when finishing fourth in a small field and shaping as if in need of the experience. Could well build on that but her demeanour in-running was a little worrying.
Forecasts
King Vince (5/6), Kebir De La Vis (7/2), Railroad Junkie (6/1), Ali The Hunter (8/1), Barcalona (25/1), Jour De Klass (28/1), Ipflibbydibby (33/1)
Not the worst bumper in a sphere that can be a little weak at this time of the year with King Vince setting the standard after his win last time out when he showed plenty of progress. KEBIR DE LA VIS was behind that one last time out but the feeling was that he would improve for that and ran better than his final position suggested and with a tongue-tie on for the first time he’s the suggestion here. Railroad Junkie has a decent pedigree and comes from a stable that have had success in this sphere while Ali The Hunter could be better with having had some experience although her attitude on debut was slightly worrying.
- Kebir De La Vis
- Railroad Junkie
- King Vince
