A break appeared to do him good last time out when helped by a drop in the weights and he returned to form with an emphatic win at Bangor (travelled well). Despite the big weight he still looks well weighted on his old form and his stable are in prime form.
Four consecutive races over hurdles have resulted in the same story with PU (pulled-up) being recorded in the formbook. Hardly looks a betting proposition on the back of such form figures.
His only career win took place over hurdles here (caused a 40/1 shock) and has never really been able to live up to that run since. Still resides above his last winning mark and has offered little of late on the Flat or over hurdles.
Makes his hurdles debut here moving back up in trip after a disappointing run last time out. Still lightly raced and from a yard with a decent record here and worth a second glance in the betting.
A hard sort to support with any sort of confidence given that he's been unreliable in the past and his form is very patchy. Ran a relatively decent race last time out but would need to repeat that and more here.
Looks the type that this yard ought to be able to do better with and could well improve on what she's done so far off a lowly mark. Worth a second glance in the market with a good value conditional taking the ride this time around.
Forecasts
Prince Khurram (11/8), Chicksgrove Sprite (7/2), Rob Robin (5/1), Taroum (13/2), Silent Account (9/1), Kingston Mimosa (14/1)
There is very little strength in depth in this race so that should enable PRINCE KHURRAM to follow-up his Bangor victory under a penalty for a yard that is in a real purple patch at the moment. Dangers are hard to find but Rob Robin and Chicksgrove Sprite could well show a little improvement and fill out the places here.
