Stuck to the task well enough when beaten 10l by the useful Copper Kay at Chepstow in April but showed her temperamental side when digging her heels in at Kempton and refusing to race last time. Chances if on best behaviour but that's a risk.
Was expected to improve for the switch to Dan Skelton at Bangor last time but in truth, only ran to a similar level to that she'd shown for Charlie Longsden. May do better yet and this step up in trip likely to help on her pedigree.
Second in a point-to-point in May but shown very little in two starts over hurdles so far. Can't be given much hope on evidence seen to date and others are preferred.
Has been running to a reasonable level in decent handicaps and will find this step back into novice company a welcome one. Slight question mark about whether she's better at shorter but may get away with it here, and if running her race, goes close.
Took a huge hike in the handicap for running the useful Passmore close at Stratford close this summer but hasn't reproduced that effort in two subsequent starts, although not disgraced last time. Chances in a weak event but not really progressing.
Has gone off at huge three-figure prices on her last three starts and will probably do so again here. No realistic chance on form.
Ran a bit better than finishing position suggested over this C&D last time, hinting at some ability and this step up in trip may help as well. Still plenty to find on that but from a good family and may go better than likely big odds suggest here.
Forecasts
Poetic Lady (8/11), Oscar's Song (2/1), Corrie Loch (8/1), Tara's Rainbow (20/1), Rubys Cube (33/1), Persistantprincess (100/1), Vitarra (150/1)
Not a strong event for the grade. It looks a golden opportunity for Poetic Lady after some solid efforts in handicaps but she'll likely be short odds, and this isn't the sort of race to be playing at short prices. A chance is taken on RUBYS CUBE who has plenty to find on form but was noted doing some good late work last time and may improve plenty for this extra half a mile. Oscar's Song hasn't really clicked yet but has time on her side and may do better.
- Rubys Cube
- Poetic Lady
- Oscar's Song
