Admirable veteran and a useful horse on his day. Placed in three point-to-point's in autumn 2015 but disappointing in the main since returning to rules racing and pulled up on his seasonal debut at Wexford in May.
Successful on heavy ground over an extended 2m here in August last year and subsequently victorious twice over fences. Well held ninth on good ground when attempting to follow up last years victory here last time out.
Four time winner over hurdles and stepped up on recent efforts when finishing 5L fourth over 2m5f at Tramore (soft) last time out. Interesting off a mark 2lb higher than for his most recent victory.
Registered a double on the Flat at Limerick in April and run some sound races in defeat since returning to hurdles. Latest third in a big field at Killarney (2m1f, good) has been franked since and he is one for the shortlist in this contest.
Sole success came in a bumper on debut back in 2010 but running well in defeat this summer. Finished runner-up over C&D on good ground here last time out and one to note following a 1lb rise in the weights.
Respectable efforts in handicap hurdles this summer and finished a decent third in a beginners chase over 2m5f on yielding-to-soft ground here last time out. Races off a mark 7lb higher than for her latest handicap victory.
Held on the Flat of late and well beaten at big prices in four outings in maiden hurdle events last autumn. Makes his handicap debut in this contest.
Placed twice over hurdles this summer including at Kilbeggan last time out. Races off the same mark today but have to go back over four years to find his most recent hurdles success.
Running well of late including when finishing fourth at Ballinrobe (good) last time out. Tongue tie worn when third prior to that left off since and he is an interesting runner in this.
Finished runner-up to Effernock Lad at this tracklast year but well beaten in the main since. Shaped better when eighth on good ground here last time out and has run well off higher marks in the past.
Twice a winner under rules including over hurdles in May 2012.. Finished a fair fourth last time out but well beaten in the main since returning from a long absence in July 2015 and others make more appeal here.
Put in a couple of respectable efforts over 2m3f and 2m6f in recent starts. Drop in trip may suit here but others make more appeal in this contest.

BAY HILL has been in good form so far this year and can register his second success over hurdles in what looks a competitive contest. The selection ran well when third last time out and the form of his latest third-placed effort has been boosted since. Broughtons Star is another who has been in good form of late and Gordon Elliott's charge is taken to claim second here ahead of Effernock Lad who has won here in the past and is likely to have improved for his recent return to action.
