Knows how to get his head in front, has won four times from 24 starts, but tipped up last time out in Down Royal handicap chase.
Winner of a beginners chase at Tramore in August 2016 and came back to win on handicap debut at Killarney in July, though couldn't handle 7lb rise at the Galway festival.
0-10 over the larger obstacles, though has finished second on three occasions and has been placed twice in fields of this size.
Course winner that has looked to have lost his way of late following a novice chase win here in January.
Finished a good third on chasing debut over 2m4f at Kilbeggan in May and disappointed in July at Kilbeggan, but comes from a leading yard at this meeting in the last four year and very capable claimer in the plate.
Unlucky in five chases recently finishing runner-up. Last seen winning a chase at Thurles in February 2016 on heavy ground., but has solid figures on yielding.
Pulled up over hurdles at the Galway festival, but had shown nothing previous in five chase starts. CD winner so must be monitored and just 4lb higher than last win.
Consistent gelding who deserves a change of luck, second on both career chase starts and was beaten favourite last time out at Sligo.
Victorious at Wexford (good) over an extended 3m1f last month and ran well when third over 2m4f there subsequently off 6lb higher mark. Disappointing last time out on good ground at Limerick.
One from 11 over the larger obstacles, with five place efforts. But could still struggle from a 6lb higher mark than last victory.

Fascinating race in the early stages with GARRAI PHAIDIN possibly taking the field along, with Sir Jack Yeats and Just Cause in behind. It is a course that historically favours front-runners so a chance will be taken with GARRAI PHAIDIN to enjoy a change of luck. Last month's course winner Thats Mypresenting can follow him home with Sir Jack Yeats feared now dropping in class following a bold run at Galway.
