Maiden winner over slightly longer at Tipperary last month, since found things too hot in Leopardstown Group 3 (behind Theobald) and liable to similar fate here. One of three trainer in this.

Beaten by talented but quirky Brother Bear on debut but has recorded pair of wins since at Naas and Leopardstown over this trip. Looks progressive and likely has more to come for yard going great guns.

Galileo colt was 2½L behind Theobald in Leopardstown maiden in June (1m, good to firm) and touched off again back there last month in maiden company. Down in trip and this is a big ask.

Frankel colt, cost 1,000,000 gns, maiden winner at Gowran Park in June though since turned over odds-on at Naas (7f, good). Gets Ryan Moore's vote from three Ballydoyle options and first-time tongue but improvement called for.

Well beaten in pair of maidens at this track, latest over a mile this month, likely to gain good experience but little else in this field.

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien landed this with Churchill a year ago and he fires three of the six now, with Rostropovich getting the assistance of Ryan Moore. He also sports a tongue tie and must surely find some improvement to win. Theobald sets the standard on what he has achieved, twice going close in Group 3 company since his maiden win. He will be hard to topple, with Bolger's horses now going well again but CAMELBACK has scope to improve after back-to-back successes at Naas and Leopardstown and may find enough to carry on the excellent form of his stable with their recent 20% strike rate impressing. Berkeley Square is also entitled to plenty respect.
  1. Camelback
  2. Theobald
  3. Rostropovich
