€14,000 yearling, by Big Bad Bob, related to multiple Flat winners, Brendan Bracken and Bible Belt. Well beaten on only bumper start at Cork.
Moss Vale gelding finished a long way last of seven in 1m1½f Gowran Park maiden and was last of nine in Dundalk claimer last time out.
Well beaten in two bumpers at Leopardstown and last time out at Punchestown when seventh of 11, beaten 52L.
Not seen since April 2015, when third of 14, here in a handicap hurdle. Beat watched following break but still in the hands of the same connections.
Arakan gelding, related to national hunt winners, Bullet Street and Formidableopponent. Ridden by one of the meetings leading jockeys in the last four years.
Mare that hasn't lived up to her name with defeats in all six bumper starts. Notable jockey booking, but hard to see what first-time cheekpieces will bring.
Showed some promise in maidens early in June but two most recent efforts have been very tame, including handicap debut at Gowran Park over this sort of trip and not disgraced last time out.
Unraced son of Sepoy, who was champion 2yo in Australia, 4 x G1 winner at 2-3 over 6f; first northern hemisphere 3yos 2017. Well related to three-time winner, Unforgetable Filly.
Unraced gelding of Dubai Destination, well related to multiple winners, Farraaj, Top Trip and Dubai Hills. Best watched on debut.
Vale Of York gelding with a relatively unexciting pedigree, well beaten, 23L when 10th of 13 on Curragh debut.
Oasis Dream gelding, half-brother to French 1m4f Listed winner Harlem. Nice blend of speed and stamina. Beaten just over 6L and not disgraced on two career starts. Yard not renowned for winners at this meeting though.
Forecasts
Turnabout (4/6), Live Twice (7/1), King Jeremy (8/1), All India (9/1), Gameasapebble (14/1), Nuff Sed (14/1), Dubai Key (14/1), Oknotok (20/1), Mr Natural (28/1), Comeragh Vale (50/1), Bobeska (66/1)
The early pace of Live Twice and Gameasapebble may have a few of these in trouble here in the early stages, in a tricky contest. The aforementioned, Live Twice, not disgraced last time out and All India can make a good fist of proceedings, but preference is for TURNABOUT, beaten just over 6L, not disgraced on two career starts and can use experience here.
- Turnabout
- All India
