Betfred Ladies Derby Handicap (Lady Amateur Riders)

In fine form this year and beaten by a smart sort at Kempton last week when runner-up for the third time in four starts. Consistency could see him place again here but not a whole lot of scope from this handicap mark one feels.

Only had five starts and won his maiden at Kempton in January. Subsequent efforts suggest the handicapper may have over-estimated the form of that race though and he needs to improve if he's to figure.

Two wins from three starts and particularly impressive at Lingfield last time out. 8lb rise for that effort could well underestimate her and should go well for top yard.

Winner of a Kempton maiden and won under a good ride at Windsor in June. Bit disappointing subsequently including here two starts back and he doesn't look entirely straightforward. Good amateur booked but has a bit to prove at present.

Impressive winner at Bath last time, ending a long losing run in the process but surprising to see him dropped back this far in trip. May lack the pace for this contest.

Promising start to his career at Hamilton, a course her trainer does well at but seemingly struggling in handicap company upped in trip. May need a sharper test to be seen at her best.

Beaten out of sight on his latest two starts but had found some consistency towards the end of last year. Claims off this mark if bouncing back but may be a better horse on the AW. Makes first start for a new yard here.

Maiden after four starts and well beaten on handicap debut last time. May want a return to faster conditions to be seen at his best.
