Has returned to something like his best form over fences recently, and this seems to be a fair mark for him. Trip/ground fine and he has the services of this particularly top jockey for the first time here.
Not at his best last time at Stratford but that was an odd sort of race, and his victory at Bangor two starts ago would put him right there on form (currently 8lb higher in the handicap). No surprise if this turns out to be an easier race.
Consistent in defeat recently in similar races to this, having managed to come up against a clear-cut winner on most of those occasions. This looks to be his ideal trip and first time blinkers well be a help to his cause.
Has failed to get involved in any of his starts over hurdles so far and needs to find plenty of improvement for the switch to fences, though he does have the benefit of starting off his hurdling mark.
Yet to get off the mark but has run some solid races in defeat, including when beaten only half a length two starts ago. This seems to be an appropriate level for him, but he still needs to improve in order to beat some of these.
Is 1/72 in his career, with that victory having come over hurdles. Races from 19lb out of the handicap and has it all to do here.
Forecasts
Miami Present (7/4), Leading Score (11/4), Turkey Creek (4/1), Whos De Baby (5/1), Cottonwool Baby (7/1), The Society Man (40/1)
After a near-miss at Stratford last time and with Aidan Coleman up for the first time Miami Present has to be considered, but preference is for LEADING SCORE. He has been running very well in defeat recently and looks like he has a race of this nature in him in the very near future. With first time blinkers and this trip both a positive, he can deliver on the promise he has shown here now. Whos De Baby can be excuses his most recent run and looks next best.
