Won one of his five starts for Peter Chapple-Hyam and has his first run for a yard which excels with such types. Stamina looked an issue in a 1m4f handicap last time and he has to be of interest over the distance of his maiden win in April.
Ran fair races in two outings as a juvenile, but has shown improvement in three starts since being gelded, Early evidence suggests he is better at this trip than the 1m4f he tried last time. Cheekpieces fitted for the first tie.
Showed a good attitude to win a 1m4f maiden at this track two starts ago and first run in a 1m5f handicap at Newmarket saw him weaken some way from home apparently through lack of stamina. Drops 3f in trip and races off the same mark.
Won the second of four starts for current stable, but has been beaten twice off higher marks since. The handicapper has dropped him 2lb since last time over 1m at Newmarket and the return to 1m2f should help.
Won on his debut at Thirsk as a juvenile, but has failed to follow up in 10 subsequent starts. Had The Statesman behind when second at York three starts ago, but two other efforts have been disappointing.
Three quiet runs in maidens preceded three fine efforts in handicaps, including when winning on his last two outings. Up 8lb since last time, he faces a much stiffer task, but still warrants plenty of respect in his hat-trick bid.
Won over 1m4f on the AW at Wolverhampton in June and has not been at all disgraced in three starts on turf since then. Held off this mark at Redcar last time and may need to come down a pound or two.

Barwell (7/2), Alfarris (4/1), Solar Cross (4/1), The Statesman (9/2), Society Red (11/2), Music Seeker (6/1), True Romance (9/1), Redicean (10/1)
The obvious staring point is Barwell, who will be fancied by many to complete a hat-trick. However, he is up 8lb from last time and it will be surprising if there is not something lurking off a more realistic handicap mark. The one who might fall into that category is ALFARRIS, who is lightly raced, could find this his optimum trip and may improve for first-time cheekpieces. Top weight Redicean is much respected for his new yard, while Solar Cross should be better at this distance after failing to stay 1m5f last time. True Romance looks best of the rest.
