Son of the smart Youmzain who made a decent start to his career when a close fifth in a Newmarket maiden five weeks ago. Yard has impressive 33% strike rate at this track so shouldn't be far away.
150,000 guineas son of triple classic winner Camelot makes his raceourse bow here for yard enjoying a good spell of late. Market should guide to his chance in a decent race for the track.
Looked green when only 12th on debut recently at Doncaster and this son of Le Havre may need more time before we see the best of him.

Sir Percy colt out of maiden dam. Not disgraced on racecourse bow at Haydock, but this looks a tough task and may do better once he goes handicapping.

Sixties Icon half-sister to two winner at around a mile. Racecourse debut here and expected to be benefit from the experience unless market suggests she's ready to excel first time out.
45,000 guineas Lope de Vega filly setting foot on a raceourse for the very first time. Yard not known for debut maiden winners so seems unlikely to trouble the principals on this occasion.

Forecasts

Deja (1/5), Doswell (11/8), Eyecatcher (13/2), Miss Mumtaz (7/1), Iconic Code (25/1), Onefootinfront (28/1), Normandy Blue (33/1), Amenhotepthethird (100/1)

Verdict

DOSWELL and Deja debuted in the same Newmarket maiden five weeks ago with the former doing best in running a fine second. The Giant's Causeway colt may agin just get the better of the argument, although Deja showed plenty of promise in fifth and looks sure to make a proper race of it. The other contender could prove to be debutant Eyecatcher, a son of the outstanding Camelot, who represents a stable do nicely in recent weeks and who have a 32% wining strike rate at this track.
  1. Doswell
  2. Deja
  3. Eyecatcher
