Cost 87,000gns as a yearling, the Kyllachy colt overcame a slow start to finish second of six on debut over C&D last month; might have won if not for being hampered near the finish. Sure to know a lot more this time around and makes plenty of appeal.
€35,000 as a yearling, his dam was a very useful sprinter (sire also very capable), so ticks the right boxes on paper. Yard in good form and interesting if supported.
A half-brother to seven winners but breeding suggests a mile will suit before too long. Ran accordingly on debut over C&D and best watched here.
Regally-bred individual who is a half-brother to a number of classy types. The betting market will be helpful but no surprise if he is primed to strike at the first time of asking. Stable going well and always repsected with its youngsters.
Cost 120,000gns and represents a top yard and respected owners. Again the betting will be helpful but possible he will be better over middle distances.
Finished last of nine on debut at Haydock in June and difficult to fancy on that evidence. Likely the gelding will also benefit from an extra furlong in due course and may need more time.
Went for 140,000gns as a two-year-old but two starts to date suggest connections need to be in it for the long haul if they are going to see a return on the investment. At least qualifies for a mark after this and may do better once he goes handicapping.
Never a factor on debut at Ripon last week; no obvious excuse and hard to see the filly having an impact on that evidence.

Eqtidaar (6/4), Mountain Guard (3/1), Barig Al Thumama (7/2), Battle Commence (10/1), Charles Fox (16/1), Two Seas (20/1), Scapusc (25/1), Lady Willpower (28/1), Partry Flyer (100/1)
A few interesting types on show and the likes of Battle Commence and the well-bred Eqtidaar are worth considering if supported. However, BARIG AL THUMAMA caught the eye on his luckless debut and may hold the edge on this occasion. Mountain Guard also represents powerful connections and is also worth a check in the betting.
- Barig Al Thumama
- Eqtidaar
- Battle Commence
