Took a while to get off the mark but did so in his sixth maiden appreciating the step up to 6f at Chepstow. Looked as though that experience had stood him in good stead when he took a nursery over the same trip at Chester (on soft ground) responding well to a positive ride.

Looks to have regressed from what were a couple of promising first two starts with blinkers and a switch to the AW showing no improvement at all. Below form again last time out at Goodwood although that was in a better grade on nursery debut and can only be watched here.

Recorded his first win on his third start over 6f at Hamilton on soft ground but did have the advantage of the favoured stands rail which tempers enthusiasm for the performance. Showed no real progress on his handicap debut at Goodwood last time out and the Hamilton effort remains his standout effort.

The only one in this field who is making his handicap debut he showed improved form last time out on his first try over 6f at Thirsk. The form of that race looks pretty ordinary and he'll need to show some more progress here to take a hand.

From the stable that have won this race for the past two years she's yet to taste success although both the yard's previous winners in this were recording their initial wins here. Has had plenty of experience and didn't run badly at Musselburgh last time out with a next time out winner already coming out of that race.

From a yard that are having a terrific year having already notched up 160 winners with 52 juvenile winners amongst that score and this one has been game from the front in her last two outings. Got involved in a pace war with the favourite on her penultimate start and may have done too much again last time out when making her handicap debut but still returning a decent effort.

Forecasts

Demons Rock (15/8), Central City (10/3), Sorority (5/1), Quayside (6/1), Super Major (15/2), Seen The Lyte (17/2)

Verdict

The John Quinn yard have taken this race for the past two seasons and they run Seen The Lyte here who has a similar profile to their two previous winners and she must be respected. Super Major is a potential improver on his handicap debut and it’s likely we will see another positive ride on Sorority although the outside draw might make that a little more difficult. Overall the top weight DEMONS ROCK looks the progressive one in the field after his nursery win at Chester last time and he has a leading chance of landing a hat-trick.
