Every chance when falling four out in a Cork handicap hurdle last time out, previously a very solid second back over fences at Wexford (battled well) and that run just about sets the standard here. Every chance if none the worse for that mishap last time out.
Not up to much over hurdles and has been on the downgrade for a while now. Even best hurdles form, if translated over fences here, is unlikely to be enough, and he makes little appeal.
C&D winner back in 2012 (bumper) and best form would put him in the firing line here, but it's a while since he showed any of that and returning here off the back of an absence, is best watched.
Related to a few jumps winners, so could be up to making a decent fist of this on debut if keeping the errors to a minimum. In good form this spring and summer, winning three times, and looks the main danger to the selection.
Gets a nice bit of weight as a 4-y-o but in truth, didn't look a natural at the game at Sligo last time, making numerous slow jumps and errors. Best watched off the back of that, with blinkers on today for the first time needing to make a major difference.
Forecasts
Mullinavat (11/10), Penny Jane (7/4), Golden Plan (8/1), Pahaska (10/1), Chance It (20/1), Rock On Bach (50/1)
MULLINAVAT comes here off the back of a hurdles fall but that ought not to put you off too much as he's a winning chaser that holds sound claims again here. Trip and ground look to have come right and he can take advantage of what appears a decent opportunity. Penny Jane could prove the main danger but lacks the experience over fences of the selection. The race for bronze can be won by Pahaska.
